I recently called two stump grinder companies for a job I wanted done at my home. Daniel at StumpDaddy’s responded quickly while the other did not return my call. Daniel was very easy to work with and gave me a reasonable quote and a short lead time to come out and do the job. I gave him some slightly tricky instructions about how to get to my place and how he would have to maneuver down a driveway. He was able to handle everything with ease. I could not be happier with this company. I had a pretty big stump (4ft across) that needed grinding and tried calling a couple of places, but nobody would return my call. I then submitted an online request for a quote on the StumpDaddys website and received a call back from Randy almost immediately (so that was very promising). They gave me a very reasonable quote for the job, and came out only a couple of business days later. Daniel was assigned to the job and kept me up to date on his arrival time, made sure he was not going to grind up anything I wanted to keep, and worked fast and accurately. He even raked the mulch mound as flat as he could, and cleaned up with a blower and left the area really neat and tidy. Ugly stump is gone! I will use StumpDaddys again next time I have to get a tree removed. See before and after pics.

Good communication, got us on the schedule quickly, courteous and professional. The stump to be ground had multiple utilities very close to the trunk and embedded in some kind of the tree roots. They were very careful to not hit any utilities while still completing the task of removing the stump. I cant say enough positive things. There should be more stars just for this service. I was pretty nervous about hiring a company to take out a massive stump that had a full trunk attached to it going off to the side. I tried everything to get it myself because I thought a company was going to charge an arm and a leg but finally I emailed StumpDaddys (On a holiday). The called me first thing next morning. Gave me a super affordable price estimate over the phone and came out to look at the entry to my backyard. Randy came out and told me that our fence would have to come down, which I was expecting. Randy was great and gave me the final price which was pretty much equal to what he said on the phone. He called someone to come out with a machine and then left. Maybe 15 minutes later, Greg showed up and took out our mega stump plus another little one. I was at work when this occurred. I anticipated coming home, fixing my fence and filling the stump void with dirt. But no, Greg put my fence back up, mulched that stump hole and did a fantastic job of leveling it out and this was all for no joke just slightly more than it would have cost me to rent a stump grinder from home Depot that I figured wasn't strong enough anyway. Shout out to Greg and Randy, wish I called long before I did!

Received a prompt callback and discussed the scope of the project and the potential challenges accessing the back yard through a pretty narrow gate. After confirming that the equipment would fit through a 48 inch gate, and accepting a very reasonable price quote, they came to do the work the SAME DAY.Greg was fantastic! The ground was quite damp and he took every precaution to ensure no damage was done by the HUGE stump grinder. He followed up with some instructions and cleaned up the immediate area. All in all a very pleasant experience. It is a pleasure to work with folks that do what they say for the price they quote.We had the crew from Stumpdaddys back to remove some dead and dying trees. They arrived promptly and went right to work. Randy came prior to their arrival and marked trees for removal.There were only two crew members but they were very efficient and completed the job in a fairly short time.
